Why so darn good? "The B & B Siesta is new and super-clean with a nice self-serve breakfast. This sweet little place has a lovely owner, Marta, and is a GREAT value!"
Location: "The B & B is in a residential neighborhood just across the river from Zaragoza's main attractions. We enjoyed walking over the bridge and seeing Zaragoza's gorgeous Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar in all sorts of lighting throughout the day. We also liked wandering the old town and touring the Roman ruins beneath the city."
Rooms: "The B & B's three brightly painted rooms are on the fifth floor of a modern apartment building with an elevator. Guests can cook meals in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoy them at the tables in the adjacent sitting area."
Food: "Marta stocks the fridge with eggs, milk, and juice, and leaves out corn flakes and pre-packaged pastries for the taking. Zaragoza has a great old town and a happening restaurant scene that comes alive when the sun goes down."
Vibe: "Super-friendly. When we got lost on the way into town, Marta waited outside for us and shouted my name when she saw us pull up. We felt like we had a friend looking out for us from the second we arrived!"
Keep in Mind: "The eco-friendly showers conserve water, but you have to keep pressing a button to keep them going."
