Why so darn good? "A bed and breakfast on a hillside overlooking a bay, a pool with a waterfall, a lovely bedroom and bathroom, any breakfast of your choice AND the absolutely best host and hostess you could possibly imagine... within hours you consider Josue and Patti friends. I was charmed with this little tucked away oasis. I enjoyed a day in the sun by the pool, an afternoon with the hostess walking two beaches, a local cafe lunch, and then cocktails. Casa Libre is an experience I will share with all my friends traveling to Puerto Rico, and I plan on returning there on my next dive adventure in the area."

Location: "Above a bay and fishing village with spectacular sunsets. The patio and pool are two steps from the door of your room. You can walk down to the village and find great restaurants, sundries, and liquor. The rainforest is minutes away. NO big city, hotel, crowds or hassles!"

Rooms: "My room had a queen size sleigh bed, large dresser, refrigerator and a huge tiled bathroom! I've stayed in many large resorts and my accommodations at Casa Libre were exquisite .... the sheets were ironed!"

Food: "Patti, the hostess, set breakfast out on the patio every morning. Whatever you wanted, and she asked every evening, it was there in the morning when you woke up."

Vibe: "Stellar."

Keep in Mind: "If you want to explore the area ... Josue can take you on any number of tours throughout the island. He knows where to go and what's happening in the area."
